Welcome to the first edition of "Hackers of Trivandrum" for 2022! The Trivandrum chapter of Defcon is back at CCCIET | B-HUB to host yet another meetup of tech enthusiasts, ethical hackers, wanna-be hackers, cyber security experts, and just about everyone whose passionate to be a part of it.
We welcome onboard anyone who likes to interact, discuss, talk, and learn about how Cyber Security and how it's becoming increasingly relevant day by day. And most importantly, how it's evolving and how each of us can be a part of it in more ways than one.
Defcon Trivandrum is a team of Cyber security and technology enthusiasts who joined forces to help the people learn new things, meet new people, mentor each other, come together and create a stronger unity inside the hacker community.

Relevance
The digital era has bought about significant changes in the way humans store data. What once was physically stored as documents is now stored in pen drives and hard disks on our personal computers or the cloud as we know it—a digital space that offers unlimited storage for a nominal amount. Which is hassle-free compared to keeping documents as physical copies. But everything comes with a price. With the digital revolution came viruses, malware and, of course, the source of Hackers. Sensitive information, or any information at all, was no longer safe, and data corruption became a huge problem.
In the age of autonomous cars, car hacking is a critical problem cyber security professionals and the automotive industry face.
This is where cyber security came into play. Cyber Security became the threat protection for sensitive personal data and the shield against any malware that can cause harm to sensitive data. The role of an Ethical Hacker is to use their knowledge to secure and improve the safety of the technology of organizations. They provide an essential service to these organizations by looking for vulnerabilities that can lead to a security breach.
Cybersecurity is the need of the hour, and Defcon is an international community that brings together Cyber Warriors and enthusiasts.
