Sustainability requires the careful and planned use of resources so that we can use it to survive and our future generation can thrive. But we're far from that road now. However, geospatial technology can help in making this happen.
Geospatial technology as a whole is any technology that incorporates spatial information to provide location information. It may use many types of sensor to produce data and monitor sustainable development measures, and provide reliable geospatial information as well as measure the existing for natural resources while providing a comprehensive hazard and risk assessments.
This is a conference to explore the adavances made by geospatial technology such as GIS in retaining a sustainable environment based on research prospects and case studies. We shall also discuss the future of this technology and the potential for it to manage sustainable growth and development of human beings.
